We went for Caleb's first wagon ride a couple days ago and he loved it! The last block of the trip though, he wanted to be the one to pull the wagon. Here are some pictures of the homestretch (after Mom was able to run in the house and get the camera).

A day with farm animals

**About a month ago we visited the Martin-Heiner Family and spent time with their chicks. We got really lucky though when their down the road neighbors called to say their horse had just had a colt and said we could all come over to see it! So we ventured over to see the horses. Caleb loved all of the "neigh" animals! He was really good at 'trying' to feed them - not quite succesful at it - but he enjoyed himself.

If You Give a Cat a Cupcake

Caleb is really starting to take even more of a liking to books lately. During the day he will pick up just about any book and want to read it; however, at night, he has a stack of specific books that he lets us choose from. We know we've read them a lot, and of course (as his parents!) we think he is smart, but we were flabergasted this last week when he started filling in the blanks on almost every page of a couple of his books!
