Sat Morning

Today Caleb is 14 weeks old! Tomorrow he turns 3 months already!

Here is a pic from this morning. Jon put him in his bathrobe since it is Saturday morning. He slept really good last night, so he was just the happiest little boy. I love it when he smiles!

Snow day

Today Caleb and Mom had all day at home during a snow day.
We had fun while daddy went and worked on a remodeling project at someone's work.

Caleb loves his exersaucer! He's a mover and a shaker!

God's gifts

One of my favorite gifts grom God is the gift of laughter. It was such a blessing yesterday to hear Caleb laughing! He has giggled once or twice before, but yesterday he was full out laughing whenever I made a funny face. It was so precious!

Caleb has also started swinging at the toys on his activity gym and plays in the excersaucer. His favorite toy right now though - other than his own hands - are the soft fleece blankets we have. He grabs onto them and pulls them to his mouth and then over his face. I love them because they calm him down if he is cranky during changing time.

It is crazy to see how fast he is growing, and yet so much fun. We're constantly wondering what will be next while at the same time trying to get over the shock of how fast children really do grow. I love being Caleb's mother - An even better gift than laughter.

close-up

Caleb is now 11 weeks old and is growing before our eyes.
In the last two weeks during our holiday travels he has become more verbal, expressive and adventurous.

He is using his hands more and has even started finding his feet.

I think I could sit for hours looking at him, looking at me.

Christmas time catch up!

Here are Pics and Video from our 10-day trip to Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota!
We had a wonderful time with all of our family. Caleb never ceased to be great entertainment!

First waiting for the excitement to begin - however, he got a little sleepy and fell asleep quickly in his swing.

Christmas Eve in Iowa

Sleepy after our first meal.

Dressed up for church... isn't our little man cute!
